This is a perfect car. Of course I am biased because I have the same exterior/interior combo on my 981 as you got.

Your options are right on the mark.

Your car is stunning. Love the red. Love the silver wheels. Love the 7 sp MT.

Agreed! I have to admit - I sometimes feel like I should have kicked in the extra $3k for the Carmine to make it even more special. But the first Porsche I ever drove was a Guards Red 944 when I was 17, and it blew my mind at the time. My 997 was Guards Red, and I decided this one should be too. I still have yet to see Carmine in the flesh. Might make me jealous!

Thanks! It's easy to second-guess, but there's not much I would change. I might consider ditching the sunroof and adding a ducktail, but I'm happy.

Default congrats

Definitely a "stealth" GTS---looks great.

I was going to hard wire my valentine---decided against. I purchased black cable (phone) and ran the cord along the headliner, down the A pillar and into the glovebox. It easy hidden from view and reversible and honestly the Valentine goes off so much in SoCal traffic that the benefit was questionable at best.

Enjoy

I can't believe it, Boulder Colorado now has (2) 991 GTS' compared to 10,000 Prius'!!!
Have you gone mad wanting a louder exhaust in our town? I would certainly like to be the first to hear it in the tunnel up Boulder Canyon though.
Great build and I'm looking forward to meeting up in person.

In the interim, who installed your clearbra? I'm on the fence over how much to protect and it would be informative to learn of your installer and see your wrapped car in person.

I used Colorado clearbra. Kirby is a fellow Porsche guy and excellent to work with. He does an incredible job with almost no seams or edges visible.
