Default Violin case for 991 frunk

Hello ladies and gentlemans!

I calculated that 991 frunk size is 690 x 460 x 420 mm. With frunk liner, they are a bit smaller: (http://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKU991FLCL.html)

My problem is finding a violin case that can fit inside the frunk. Anyone here that transport their violin in the frunk and can advise me on which case to get? My current case is too big, so I have to carry it in the back seat fasten with seatbelt. It's a real pain taking it in and out everytime.

The violin case should be able to hold 1 or 2 bow holders inside (not outside).

Thanks in advance for your help!

I've seen a lot of questions over the years. This is a first.

Have you seen the Panomera? I hear the new Macan is great!

My shotgun case fits perfectly on the rear deck. Nice drive out to the country, sporting clays, and then more driving - nice combo

+1. One of the more esoteric posts I've seen.

Set it on the passenger floor mat?

If you have a passenger, have her hold it.

I'd rather not put it in the frunk. Less finger prints on the hood and crest.

Should try fitting a trombone in there...
...like installing a rollbar!

Funny, just put an electric bass guitar in mine last weekend. Fit behind passenger seat great!

One reason I like my Cayman S. Bigger frunk. I can transport two bike wheels in the frunk along with cycling accessories...and still have room in the trunk for more if necessary.

Good luck with your search. I believe the back seat is still your best option.

Man I love this place.

To the OP, see if you can find a music store that will let you test fit the cases before you buy?

Perfectly understandable question. My wife's viola case fits just fine in the frunk. Keep looking, there are plenty of cases that will fit.

Lex - just north of you is a great sporting clays field. Just a warning if you try it you will like it. Northbrook also has skeet, trap and 5 stand. Also golf equipment is like chump change compared to the cost of a good competition shotgun. Mark

I hope you find something. Sounds like you're a performer, like your car.
