Even when turned off in sport plus mode, the valves will still open and go into loud mode above 4500 RPM.

Good to know thanks. So now the delema of whether or not regular sport mode is agressive enough for the track.

I'll let you know in March if the GTS can pass 90db at Laguna. :-(
I can't imagine you're gonna pass unless you put some kind of redirect on the exhaust tips, but who knows. Would love to know.

that doesn't help the OP, since the sound test is static as you arrive at the facility, its not an on track measurement like Laguna Seca...

Ive been looking around, and it appears that you can buy a higher sensitivity 3.5mm jack compatible external microphone for your smartphone ... you can combine that with a sound meter app to build
a DIY decibel meter ...

I've ordered one - I'll report on my success/failure.

Or you could just buy an actual decibel meter from Amazon for like $20... just saying.

Nice video, wish it was in English... looks like those guys are having fun ripping it up in a GTS + GT4. Some part of me loves that both cars are dirty too.

Also more confirmation on the sport bucket seats in a 991 GTS too. Someone page that rude d-bag from the other thread on bucket seats...

I never thought to check the prices... I assumed they would be more than that!

Static noise level was recorded at 95dB at 4,500 rpm. No problem at all.
