Hey everyone,

I wanted to make an official introduction now that I am *finally* taking delivery of my dream car tomorrow ... a CPO 2013 Carrera S in basalt black metallic w/ full beige leather interior w/ about 9500 miles on the odometer.

I just received a few photos of the car from my awesome sales associate (Justin Paskey) at Byers Imports in Columbus, OH. My baby is excited to be leaving the cold winters of Ohio for the warm, coastal town of Charleston, SC.

I also wanted to give a very special shout-out to George (STG991) who was EXTREMELY patient answering 500+ of my questions over private message - his advice was invaluable.

For me - this car was the perfect combination of luxury & performance options (PDK, sport chrono, full leather, premium package plus, mahogany trim). Now I just have to figure out a way to sleep tonight before I take delivery tomorrow.

So glad you found the right car. Looks extremely clean and they're a great dealer. You had a trade in that you were shopping deals with too which always makes it more difficult.

Nicely optioned and you got a great deal. The Basalt Black Metallic is a great color. Keep us posted upon delivery!

Josh had been following "hot for sale" for a long time. He did find this one on his own though.

Josh, how long had you been looking? It's been a while. Curious, Byer's arrange the delivery? I know they sell ALOT of cars out of state. I know some dealers have their own transportation.

Hey George,

I started getting serious about my 911 search about 4-6 months ago. Byers Imports (Columbus, OH) ships their cars all over the country so they arranged for closed container shipping. Unfortunately I just got a call from my sales associate that their truck is having mechanical issues and will not be able to deliver my car until next Friday!

Nice, I have the beige, (although not full leather, sad face) and I love it, I'll never go back to dark interior. It's so much cooler in the summer and so much brighter and happier when it's cloudy out.

I've always enjoyed the beige interiors. I concur with Dewinator that it's a bright and happy feel compared to black (which I have currently.)

What a perfect car. Gongrats! The color combo is amazing, and the entire car works so well (basalt black, beige interior, aluminum wheels, red calipers). Looks gorgeous.
