Default Adding heated sterring wheel

Greetings,

I have a 2013 C4S with the Multi-Function wheel but it is not heated.

Is it possible to swap the wheel for another MF wheel that has heat? Is the proper wiring in the steering console? Or would it also require wiring harness changes?

No sir. Cannot add heat... with enough cash it might be "possible" but basically it's a no.

Can you post here? I cannot recall anyone adding heating to a non heat wheel especially if coming from SD to MF with heat. I spoke with dealer about a CTT I was interested in and they said no go to SD to MF with heat.

I'd be interested as well. At minimum I'd guess it would require a new clock spring, control module, and coding. It doesn't seem trivial. Even Suncoast is shying away from this retrofit.

So I have a MF wheel that's not heated and wanted to switch to a heated one, I figured it should be easy? If I can just find a heated wheel?

More importantly can I switch from a 991.1 wheel to a 991.2 wheel????

Anything is possible. All depends on how much you want to pay to get this done.

If you want to upgrade to a heater wheel, you'll need the control module and the heated wheel (the wiring is already in place). The dealer will also have to do some brief coding/programming to activate the heater wheel. It's not very complicated, but the parts from the dealer are very expensive (>$2000).

I have a like new PDK heated multifunction wheel and control board if anyone is interested in upgrading to the heated wheel. PM if you have any questions.

Thanks
