If we can please let's keep this thread HRE related. If ANRKY wants to start their own gallery thread that's fine with me, but let's not mix the two.

Hi Jurrian,
What are the weights of standard 991 20" sizes for P104 and/or FF04 designs?

thanks,
John

For our FlowForm FF04, here are some weight figures:
20x9 ET45 - 24.40lbs
20x11 ET65 - 24.40lbs
20x11 ET45 24.40lbs

Yes if you can believe it, all three wheels weigh the same amount. Makes it easy to remember at least.

As far as P104's are concerned, it being a Forged wheel, we're going to see much less weight. Here are some examples in similar sizes/offsets:
20x9 ET42 - 21.60lbs
20x11 ET53 - 22.50lbs
20x11 ET56 - 22.80lbs

Thanks. i don't even have the car yet, but can't resist doing some research. This time I swore I'd stick with the stock rims to save money, but I really like the P104s. Actually the P101s might be my favourite but i already have a set for summer use on my CayenneTT. I get compliments on them all the time.
I have C93s on my 997 but like the monoblock look better these days.

Is there much difference in weight between P104 and P103?
My P101s are "brushed dark clear" - is there any way to get an even darker (but still partially transparent) finish?

Thanks,
John

I pulled some examples of P103's and P104's built in the same size, same offset, and same conical profile to give you a clear answer. Here's what I found:

P103 20x11 ET37 LO Profile - 23.20lbs
P104 20x11 ET37 LO Profile - 22.00lbs

P103 21x10.5 ET30 MO Profile - 23.50lbs
P104 21x10.5 ET34 MO Profile - 23.40lbs

P103 21x11 ET25 LO Profile - 24.50lbs
P104 21x11 ET23 LO Profile - 24.50lbs

I would say there's not an appreciable difference in weight between the P103 and P104. P101's will be similar weight as well.

The P101's could be the best looking wheel ever made for any car. If only they were half the price!

The R101 in gloss charcoal is spectacular. Difference from the P101 designation ?
