Just bought one of the last remaining GTS before they all gone turbocharge.
I just couldn't pass on the last Gen NA engine.
The car is in guards red with GTS interior package
18 ways, premium, PASM Sport, backup camera,
Most importantly 7 sp manual.
I will post some picture tonight. Got too excited last night didn't even get to take any good pictures. Coming from a 2014 Boxster S (pdk, sports chrono) and before that 2011 E92 M3 ( manual). I always think the best combo is manual paired with a high revving NA engine. I always regret giving up my V8 m3. Now I have the perfect chance, so I have to grab the last remaining NA one. I was able to get about 9% off the sticker, which I think is not a bad deal at all. Consider all the 991.2 they are selling is at MSRP.
I have been debating too if I should wait for the 991.2 GTS. Since Porsche's infotainment system is really outdated need some serious revision and 991.2 just make some improvement in that division. But the sound of the NA engine has convicted me that I have make the right decision. In the end it is about the car not the navigation or phone apps.
So far really really happy. Will start modding soon. Considering adding ipd plenums, wondering if anyone who has them can chime in and let me know if there is any noticeable gain after upgrade.
