Default New 2016 Carrera 4 GTS Coupe

Hi Guys,

My car has arrived and is about to be PDI'd, etc and should be in my hands by next week. Pics will come as soon as I get to see my new baby.

I had posted here a while back and for those who recall, I came from a Panamera 4S which I sold earlier in the year, then I put in an order for the C4GTS in June which was then subsequently cancelled by Porsche HQ due to the new forthcoming facelift during July then I got the call saying that they had allowed only one allocation and it was mine

My spec is as follows:

  • Carrera 4 GTS
  • Sapphire Blue
  • GTS Interior with Rhodium Silver Stitch
  • Black LED Headlights
  • Clear Tail Lights
  • PDK
  • Sports PASM
  • Glass Sunroof
  • 18 Way Seats
  • Sport Design Steering in Leather
  • Carbon PDK Gear Selector
Plus a few other small bits and bobs....

Thanks to all the guys here who helped me make some choices in the past - this is a great forum.

I am so happy to be getting one of the last few NA Engines. I recently saw the turbo'd carreras in the car show that took place here last month and quite frankly the only thing that I liked was the new style steering wheel. The dual pipe exhaust did not do it for me, neither did the vertical grille at the rear. As for the new PCM, yes it is nice but I was disappointed to see that the screen did not appear to actually grow in size. The plastic surround is now flush glass but the screen itself appeared to be the same size (if I am not mistaken) but with different graphics. In fact I played around with it for a while and it did not flow well - I am sure future generations will be way better. I also spoke to a sales person at the stand and whilst he could not run the engine at the time he told me that it was very disappointing in comparison to current day NA engines.

Plus the way I think of it, since everything is going turbo these days, there will inevitably be a time in the future when we will all be driving such engines and maybe not by choice - hence why I thought grabbing a final NA is well worth it....

Anyhow, sorry for rambling on....will post pics as soon as I get the beast...

Cheers....

Car is yet to be registered but got some quick pics at the dealer earlier (apologies for the pic quality and I have no idea why they are uploading the wrong way around...)

Thanks

As for the centre strip, it is standard to get a clear centre strip when spec-ing clear glass tail lights on a 4S....It is a pretty cool option I think....
