Help me chose, base loaded with low miles or S with double the miles?

I would always get the S. I took my S in and they gave me a base to drive that day. The base was brand new and it felt new. My S had 39k on it when I bought it. The base model felt weak and did not handle as well. I would go for the bigger engine, much better resale down the road.

Now why would you plant a seed like this? 
We all have different wants and needs. I don't have "S" envy. I don't want PASM, SPASM, PDCC, PTV (I sort of want PTV), sunroof, power seats, or PDK. I want the 3.4, a manual trans, safety gear, and track time.
So for me, the base model with lower miles would be a very easy choice.

I guess I have been spending to much time with the little lady---she is so good at "up-selling me" on just about anything...
She uses Jedi Mind tricks on my weak mind---lolMy bad---I like both cars very much
