When my detail guys clear bra'd my car, they also dud the bottom edge and underside of the lip. You would think it was a good idea, but once you scrape it, the clear bra gets mangled and you can see the little pieces of mangled clear bra along the edges. I went back and my detailed removed the clear bra from the underside.

Got it, very helpful. So no tape here. Got the sandpaper, sanding block and will use the tips above to clean it up nicely. Thanks.
