Projecting the GTS market
#16
I have been flipping BMWs for the last 10 years building equity along the way. I am in love with my GTS and planning on keeping it forever until the wheels fall off. But for the right offer I would sell it. MSRP $139000. Make me an offer. 3000 miles on the clock. Just kidding!

Does anyone know how many 991.1 GTS's were produced in total?

There have been quite a few used low mileage 991.1 GTS's come to the market at significant savings. There have been quite a few posted in the "hot for sale" stickie. Not hard to find and not free from depreciation, trust me. Definitely will not be as common as the S models because of production #'s alone. Only produced for just over a year.

I got the GTS bug too. Planned to wait a few years to order, but couldn't afford to wait. Getting one of the last NA cars was key for me. While there will surely be GTS cars on the used market, I wouldn't bank on massive depreciation. Get what you want now if you're able. Life is short.

Porsche typically only release these after the fact, so we wont know for certain until later next year...
based on 2014 production #'s we guestimated somewhere around 3-5k globally for all GTS variants: 2/4 Coupe, 2/4 Cabriolet, Targa4... with around
30% coming to the U.S...

I got 10K more than I would have for a 2012 997.2 Carrera S when I traded my 2012 997.2 GTS on my current 991 GTS. I traded about a year ago and got $79,500 on trade (that did not include the 6% discount on my 991 GTS). My dealer sold my 997.2 GTS in less than two weeks for $88,500. It was a very well optioned 997.2 GTS in pristine condition with only 10,000 miles which certainly helped with resale.
