As the 911 evolves it moves further and further into what the market wants and how the government regulates cars to be. The question is simply answered by reflecting if you're an old 911 guy or a new 911 guy. Then you'll have your answer. Porsche is trying hard to satisfy all buyers, but it won't work with the 991 anymore. The turbo thing and the accompanying vacuum cleaner sound will not split hairs. The 991.2 car is not the same as the 991.2 TT.

I wish we had the internet back in 1928 so we could go back and read all the Model T owners dissing the new Model A!

I guess it would all depend on whether the A was better looking or not. Porsche has done a great job improving the looks of the 911 with some generational updates, not so much with others. To bury your head in the sand and just assume newer is better because it's newer is dumb. Were Bangle BMW's better looking than the cars they replaced? How about the new Lexus RX design, step forward or abortion?

If you have to ask just get a 991.2...

Widebody on a rwd 911 (I live in CA and don't understand the idea of a 4s)
Last NA engine
Stunning massive centerlock wheels
Epic gts interior with deviated stitching
Tasteful black accents like headlights, trim and badging
Power kit and PSE as standard
A somewhat rare and desirable model for years to come (I virtually never see another GTS on the road)

+991.1

These are exactly the reasons I ordered mine back in May when it was clear the 991.2 was going to be turbocharged.
