Default Martini or Gulf Accents on a Silver 991 ? Help?

So I've just purchased a silver 2012 S. And I must admit I'm pretty dang excited about it! I'm thinking about some somewhat subtle ideas to spice up the look. Has anyone seen Martini stripes, or maybe in Gulf orange and blue on a silver coupe? Or anyone able to mock one up? I'd probably do the top only, not the sides. I'd really appreciate the help!

+1 if you got the coin. Unsure if silver will match the stripes well enough.

Cool cars, but keyword is subtle.

Could do a "Gulf Style" design using other colors that go better with silver.

Like a nice metallic maroon and a nice darker blue.

Just found this:

You have a funny way of saying "subtle".

I'm thinking maybe two broad orange stripes with blue pinstripes on outsides. Subtle for Gulf livery anyway

Unless you are building a tribute car, livery on a street car pretty well screams 'Poser on the way to Starbucks.

I feel like it would really only work on a white or black car.

Porsche builds Gulf liveried 918's. Not sure I'd consider that a poser car. Also, as someone who does race, I'm not inclined to worry about that label. Just prefer a sportier look. All a matter of degrees.

i keep coming back to this photo.....while i don't want to spend $5k (or whatever the number is) only to remove the wrap after a short while, it could keep me in my car for a while longer.

You could go a long way with some new forgeline wheels in satin or black and if you really want to get sporty, some vinyl Porsche decals for the doors like the rennsport 5 991. The gulf and martini stuff is cool, but hardly subtle.
