Wow! Another one. Okay, let's go through the questionnaire:
Do you want it?
o Yes
o No
Probably yes.
Do you have the money?
o Yes
o No
Probably yes.
Is it a good deal?
o Yes
o No
Probably yes.
Do I like the color?
o Yes
o No
Probably agonizing over that until you can't sleep at night, right?
Does it look like a good car?
o Yes
o No
Probably yes.
Do you guys think it's a good deal?
o Yes
o No
o Why should you care
Probably yes.
Will you co-sign the loan
o Yes
o No
Are you kidding me!
Look, the advice for these situations is always the same. If you like it, want and can afford it, then buy it. Maybe it's a lot of money so you need some reassurance, but really, what can a bunch of well intentioned, anonymous strangers really do for you as far as advising you?
How about this: Buy it and enjoy it.
Anyway, make a decision. You guys with the money to buy these cars that can't make a decision truly amaze me.

OMG! Who buys their car based on if your girlfriend can drive it??
My wife can't drive my manual trans car. Neither can my son or my daughter. And that's fine by me. They have their own cars they can rash the wheels on.

It will be our only car used for road / weekend trips. We plan to drive this car... in fact, have a XC to the east coast planned for summer '16 so naturally I can't drive alone.

Buy it and post some pics of all that deviated stitching.
BTW, just because one can drive a manual does not mean you want to drive one -- know that I don't. I love the fact that I can do the shifting with the paddles or let the car do it for me.
