Hi everyone, I have been told by 2 good windows tint guys, one of them said it is needed to put felt on the door side when installing windows tint in a 991 c4s. The other one says "no" f or this model.
What is your experience? would the tint be "scratched" without the felt?

No felt needed! And no scratching without it.

Felt on some of the interior pieces to avoid rattles is another story.

 

None used on mine, FWIW...

 

As others have said, it's not needed.

I have very dark tint. No felt that I can see, and no scratching.

 

Nope. Panamera yes. 911 no.

 

Not required. Zero issues with my window tint.
