991.2 Configurator 360 on Mac issues
Do others still have problems with the 360 view on the configurator on a Mac running on OS X El Capitan. The 2D works fine. And it's only with the 991.2 models not the other models.

Try upgrading your unity plugin. Caveat- if you are running any OSX variant, know that UNITY only supports 3 versions backwards with OSX. I'm out of the running on this MAC with Snow Leopard (2007 Mac Mini); furthermore, I have found that running an older version of UNITY (4.x.x) supporting Snow Leopard just doesn't seem to cut it with the Porsche Configurator....I have to go over to my crummy WIN Laptop with Win7 64 bit, if I want to run the Configurator in 3D. PORSCHE (and UNITY)... THIS BLOWS!!!
It doesn't matter for me whether I'm using Firefox, Safari, or even Chrome. Pfft. And now, I just checked and it won't work on the 911 GTS or Turbo/TurboS configurators. The 997.1 Configurators are GONE from the Porsche USA site so I can't check those...
My guess is you need to upgrade to UNITY 5.X.X... the Porsche Configurator should run great on ElCapitan with the latest UNITY plugin.

Good steps for anyone who is having problems to try. But, this is not my issue. With the latest Unity running on El Cap I have garbled video in Safari unless running the Configurator in full screen. Unity won't work at all for me in Chrome.

Have you tried uninstalling UNITY, rebooting and then reinstalling it?

Also running OS X El Capitan on the latest and greatest 27 inch 5k iMac and the configurator sucks on the Porsche website using Safari.
I have no other browser and don't intend to download Firefox or Chrome.

"As of September 1st, 2015 Google released Chrome version 45 which completely blocks all NPAPI plugins including the Unity Web Player. Users will need to use either Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, or Opera to run the Unity Web Player. We are hard at work developing a replacement application that will remove the need for the Unity Web Player however there is currently no time frame for its release."
No NPAPI = No Unity in Chrome.
