Default Problems with Porsche Configurator and new cars

If I use the Porsche Configurator tool to build a 991.2 and try to view it in the 3D mode, I get a mess:

I can duplicate this problem on several different OS X computers. Does anyone else have a same issue and know a fix for it? 3D viewing of older vehicles works fine. I'm using the latest OS, Safari, and Unity 3D plug-in versions.

No problems here, however I do run Yosemite. At one point it asked me to download a new version of the Unity plug-in, but I can't tell any difference. It worked fine before.

I'm running NA. Works perfect. Considered the TRBO software version upgrade, and had many faults with it.

Experienced the same issue on my Mac. Using Firefox was the only solution I found to get the 3D Configurator to work properly.

right I believe that neither chrome nor safari supports the 3D plugin for the configurator ...

It works fine running Safari for me, but with OS X (Yosemite), maybe it's a problem with El Capitan.

I think it's an El Capitan problem. The plug-in does work in Safari in El Capitan and I can configure older cars but anything with a "new" as part of its name doesn't work. Firefox does work. Chrome doesn't work at all because they no longer support the old plugin technology that Unity uses.

Hopefully Porsche will revise their configurator soon to be a bit more modern and not rely on a plugin.

It definitely seems like a problem with Safari in El Capitan, however if you make the image in the 3D view full screen it does render correctly.

Interesting; I haven't seen that. I'll have to try it on my El Capitan laptop. On my desktop, going fullscreen actually crashes the Unity plugin, maybe because I have two screens connected to that computer.

Porsche Dubai website and configurator has no longer price information for any model or the Options for them. Part of the problem??
