Town Porsche - during my purchase was told I will always get a Porsche loaner, but it will not be a 911 (or did he say it wont be a GTS?).

Regardless, I hated when BMW would do regular rentals as loaners, i left a dealership over that.

Porsche of Fairfield: I usually get a Cayenne of some form. Once I had a Boxster. The only time they screwed up, I was in a Buick Enclave for a day, then was switched to a Cayenne.

New Country - Greenwich: Cayenne variant.

Wow.

For a day or two, I don't care what I drive.

But the dealership always gives me 918's except for the one day they gave me a used 959.

Well, the part about not really caring what I drive for a day or two was true.

When I had my audi in for service at Thompson they gave me a cayenne for a week and a panamera loaner as well. Obviously trying to get me to trade up.

One time Audi of Bucks (thompson) also gave me an almost new A8L as a loaner which I had for almost a month while they did battle with Audi of NA over a warranty issue.

Going to miss them.

Recently got a brand new Macan Base 2017 with 425 miles from Purchasing dealer on a short notice same day appointment. They had no rush to get it back and said I could keep it for the week, if I wanted. The Macan drove really nice and shifted very smoothly.

Previously got a Cayenne Diesel for one day from a non purchase dealer when I did an early 2,000 mile oil change.

With Prior R8, they would always pick up/drop off a brand new fully loaded A8. This dealer by the way in NJ apparently picked up another's customers car in VA!

They usually give me a Cayenne...at my current dealer in AZ. Tacoma WA dealer would give me a freaking Enterprise loaner - non Porsche...Never go/use those folks again bad vibes and experiences for a few of my friends also. San Antonio, TX always had a Porsche loaner - great service..thanks guys. Alexandria VA....the manager would give me one of the CPOd cars...had some nice choices and variety! Audi always gave us Audis and BMW same so don't know why Porsche is so variable.

Nice to hear others have similar experiences.

I brought my CPO 991 into Porsche Norwell twice needing loaners. Three times for loaners, 1st time, an Audi Q5, then twice, I had the choice of a Cayenne S or a Macan S. Always took the Macan S (absolutely loaded Porsche Exclusive car that stickered for almost $95k). At Porsche Nashua, one time loaner for my CPO 991S, they gave me a Cayenne. I always wonder what (if any) dealers in New England have Porsche loaners that are a bit more fun (Cayman or Boxster +).
