Just my 2 cents---STG991 may be this forums most valuable contributor---

He is very generous with his time, knowledge, and contributions to help fellow 911 enthusiasts. I agree that each of us should spend at least a few moments to get our hands dirty and use our brains to find information that is already been discussed. I think we tend to forget that this forum has intelligent people with a sense of humor that requires one to be open to the occasional reminder / poke---emails tend to be cold and can come across as being aggressive.

I think it is healthy to challenge each other---

Let's use this energy to convince PORSCHE to build more NA GTS and GT3's!!!

Cheers

I'm with STG on this. These repetitive threads clogging up the forum lately could easily be avoided if people would just use the search function once in a while before starting a new thread. Simple forum etiquette.

In all fairness, our search function sucks.

I think people get better results when they go through Google.

Thanks, and to the others for the comments as well.

By the way, you have the supercar duo now. Speedster and Club Coupe. Two keepers! Great write ups on the Euro experience.

Lex coined the term "Frunk full of panties" a while back. He can fill you in.

"FRUNK $$$" is another good one.

Maybe I was a bit harsh (and apologize), but others were already discussing the trunk money subject in the mythical everyone is going to get 15% off MSRP thread. Why start a new one then???

https://rennlist.com/forums/991/9004...er-2015-a.html

Then you have a poor guy apologizing for "only getting 9% off" on an oncoming GTS. I'm like, 9%?? That's a HUGE score. Geez, most guys are lucky to get 5-7%! Somehow there is this unrealistic expectation of a discount. Start making calls, reality will set in.

Porsche likes $$$, the Frunk will come empty

I agree. I always search Google the forum posts always show up. My point as explained, is that this was already being discussed in another thread.

Also, when I have questions I try and find an existing related thread and add to it. Makes it easier having consolidated posts.

While duplicates are annoying. Is this really a big deal? If you don't like the post, then ignore it and move on. By replying you are only bumping the post up to the top. With the natural order in which forums like this one work.. duplicates quickly fall off the first page because people simply ignore them. If you truly want to be helpful.. simply post a link to the original discussion thread.. to get the newbies pointed in the right direction.

And yes. The search function does suck.

Does anyone else have a hard time taking criticism (and/or similar comments) from people who can't even find $18 to become a member? As with everything in life, you get what you pay for.... flame away. I don't care..... find your wallet, support the site and maybe I will read your posts....

STG right on.... great work. Keep it up. Oh and if I end up with a 3rd car because of your awesome posts I'm gonna hunt you down!
