I'm watching your boat on the tracker but it's going to be too dark to get a picture by the time it's close enough.
Argh! Link to tracker?

It looks like it's slowly making it's way to port. If it does not move for a while, it may be at anchor. My boat was like that for 36 hours due to the Veterans Day holiday.

Seriously, I was thinking the same thing. When Glovis stopped for a bit it was a lot closer to the coast and further south too.

Saracasm, yes? Car's have been offloaded and are in the hands of Pasha Automotive--the Stevedores for the Port of San Diego-- After PDI they'll be released to carriers. I'm sure that PNCA informs dealers when the car is released to carriers but I would imagine the time lag is such that depending on how far the dealer is from POE that when the dealer gets that info the car may well be just a day away--

Actually the story gets weirder. The boat spent the night wandering around N of San Diego and now some tracking sites indicate its new destination is Long Beach!

What leads you to believe your car is still on the Glovis Champion? Where are you getting your information?

This is normal path, should stop in Long Beach then Port Hueneme and then back around to San Diego.

All about managing the unloading in order and port availability. But don't worry, normally LB and PH stops are only a few hours.

Oh. Boo. Is it weird that the SD port expected Goliath @ 6p yesterday? Then the ship steamed past, did nothing over night and is still sort of sitting... I guess plans change but the sitting is a bummer.

The waiting is the worst part. My RS took this bizarre route a month ago and it appears to be the norm now. Good news is that SD should process your car quickly and you will be in business!

Good luck

You guys HAVE TO post pictures of your cars when you get them. I'm waiting for my car also and it would ease my pain to see someone get their car....

Either that or the Somali pirates have expanded their area of operations.
