OP your build is not crazy. Very reasonable imo.

Not crazy at all. If you like tan, get a tan interior. It's a blast to drive (especially with the sweet shifting MT) and that doesn't change no matter what interior color you've picked.

You are crazy man.... to think you can order a GTS now... I really think it is too late to order one now. Yeah they are still rolling off the line but they are not taking anymore orders. I hope I am wrong and you can order, but I would check with your dealer again. Good Luck..

I see a well rounded package and way to go on choosing a GTS now.

I hear you. What about the GT aspect of the car though?

I guess grand touring means something different to everyone.

I do realize that there is a legacy of porsche gts. Though I don't think this car borrows from it apart from name? It's more like a trim level, considering caymans and parameras have the same option.

Spot on. The GTS is a great and fun car, but it is as you pointed out, a model gap filler. At low speeds around town, it's a GT cruiser - it is still a 991.

The epitome of sports cars in the general public's eye is a certain Ferrari. What's the most famous color combo in those cars?

The above said, colors don't define the purpose of a car. The time you spend inside the cabin being less than happy costs a lot more than money.

Edit: Replaced "your" with "out"

Same body as the GT3 too ... The 911 is a sports car whatever label one puts on it.

Get what you like, it's all personal preference. If you like tan, go for it. I'd suggest a black dash for glare though. I'm just very picky

I would recommend the two tone with tan. The tan dash/wheel is too much tan for my tastes.

I just emailed the dealer. Apparently we have to rush to get the order in for a deadline tonight.

This urgency came up when I pointed to the new information about no GTS orders being taken.

Dealer says he has allocations. Not passing my smell test with flying colors...

I love this build! Great job. Huge fan of black and brown interior. Lucky to get one of the very last GTS allocations!

You all were right. The order magically locked this afternoon.

the dealer was lying to me, for whatever reason.

Great news for a Friday.
