Winter Tires - Michelin vs. Pirelli

I sell about a 60/40 ratio of Michelin to the Pirelli. For mostly dry day driving with a bit more emphasis placed on dry performance I would go with the Pirelli. They seem to report back feeling a bit more like an all-season tire on dry days than the Michelin does. For deeper snow the Michelin is preferred. The Pirelli is a bit cheaper.
You won't go wrong with either.

I bought an OEM tire/wheel set last October from my Porsche dealer when I purchased my 2013 C4S. They came with the contiwintercontact performance tires. I have no complaints. They handled very well in dry conditions and were as good as I could hope for in the snow. I even took the car skiing for a week in the Adirondacks. 19's BTW.

Last winter, on an Audi S4, I drove the Michelin Pilot Alpin 4s and I was NOT impressed with them in the snow and slush, disappointed in fact, so I don't know what to recommend.
Asking the same questions this year for a Cayman S that I may drive through the winter. But in this case I will focus on dry performance because the Cayman will be a secondary winter driver.
