Entry Port Emden - 03/10/2017
Exit Port Emden - 03/31/2017
Entry Port Halifax - 04/07/2017
I am hoping it doesn't need to sit in Emden for 21 days and gets out in 14 days instead!

Dealer emailed me this morning. My car exited production on Friday March 17th (original plan was March 24th). The status report on Friday didn't show a date change for delivery to Port of Halifax. I wonder if that will change now that the car has been produced a week early? Can the car catch an earlier ship or is it all orchestrated well in advance, with the early car having to wait for its assigned sailing date?
It has a VIN and my SA says I can track it on the Porsche Delivery App for iPad. Has anyone done this?

I tried the Porsche delivery app, but wasn't able to track my car. I was able to enter the production code, and it knew it's a C2, and it let me do a pretend delivery (watch videos, and read manuals) but there was no way to track the status.

I similarly found the "Delivery" app useless

I was originally on your transit schedule 613Porsche.. I made a few minor last minute changes (one was a cxx option) that pushed me back. At least our cars are built and sitting in Emden waiting for a boat ride.

On board Viking Bravery, left Emden ~3/19
Hi folks, my TTS is reported to be aboard the Viking Bravery which is reported to have left Emden 3/19. Est. arrival date in Houston is 4/8, with delivery to my dealer about a week later. Anyone else have a car on this same ship?
It's smart of Porsche to give conservative estimates of timing, thereby reducing disappointment and resentment for delays and increasing appreciation for being "early". So much of satisfaction in life is about expectations....

So i picked her up and despite the 50 degree temp and snow on the ground I drove her home top down. Absolutely love the car. Big thanks to mike at Porsche of Fairfield. Great experience. Even got to go on a family drive. Here are a few pics and one last good bye to my first 911. That car will be missed.
