I would love to hear from the OP if base NA models are still available to order. I was under the impression 991.2 production would start in December, which means there isn't much capacity left in November, if any....

A quick search on Cars.com revealed there are about 19 new GTS coupes in stock in all of the U.S. You may be able to get a small discount on one of those... Not sure about a custom order.... Good luck...Keep us posted !

So, the 8% + discount doesn't hold for the GTS? I've heard otherwise...

It all depends on how well the car is optioned. If it is an existing inventory, you should be able to get $8-10K off (translate to 5-7% discount depending on the base price). I believe you can still order a GTS and it can get 5-8% again depending on the options. I think the magic # is $8-10K off.

invoice pricing is meaningless bc its not what the dealer actually "pays" for the car. To me if i am paying invoice plus, i am leaving cash on the table so i employ an "invoice minus" approach.

My experience in shopping is when the stealer starts spouting off about his cost/profit etc, I politely say I don't care what they paid...all I want is my price.
Some become speechless , but if they seriously want to sell the car to you you'll get to the bottom fast. Either you're comfortable or you're not.
