If you purchased a car and they sold you on it having CPO warranty I would be pissed.

But the CPO warranty stipulations have not changed in years and is clearly explained on the Porsche web site.

So what happened?

They did sell it to me with 'CPO' claim. I called and verified remaining duration and such to confirm.

There was no mention from Porsche about non-transfer at that time but I also didn't ask as I've bought CPO cars in the past and not run into this. My 997.2 was CPO and I had CPO work done to it as soon as 2 years ago.

I did not ask the NA rep about private party transactions as it didn't apply in my case.

Going to have a nice chat with the selling dealer . . .
