Rennsport Reunion V - Thursday, Sep 24, 2015 - Preparation Day
Laguna Seca was humming with preparation for Rennsport which opens tomorrow Friday at 8AM. Most of the car exhibitions were being set up and the paddock was full of cars in anticipation of the track action.
A large tent with historic cars is set near track entrance with fabulous classics, many brought directly from the Porsche Museum.
Porsche has a large display area with a store stocked with Porsche Design goodies. The display area showcases the Le Mans winner 919, several 991.2 (covered today), a Rennsport edition 991 GTS and several other models.
Early in the afternoon Porsche assembled a number of select cars (all motorsport winners) in front of the Michelin tire bridge for a Group Photo.

Anyone know if there are tickets available at the gate and what the parking situation is? I just found out I might be able to get down Saturday.
my understanding tickets will be available "at the gate" and there will be general public parking, but model spec coral parking is full I think, although they may allow Porsche's into the "purple" parking lot for those in a Porsche but w/o a special coral pass...
