How long does a typical install take? My shop is quoting around 4 hours which seems really long.

Sounds about right. There's quite a bit of work involved. Especially if you have the sport design front bumper and center radiator.

Yes, as STG pointed out I had them installed on my C4S and love them. No parking sensors though on mine so I can't comment on that.

Default mesh bumper grilles

I have them on my 15 GTS. Took ED in May. When car got to Champion someone had pushed the front parking sensors through the bumper. So, while the the bumper was off for sensor repair they Installed the Rennline mesh kit I provided. They charged me 1.5 hour labor. So 3 to 4 hours would seem about right to R&R the bumper and install the grilles. No issues with grilles and parking sensors.

Looking at my labor break down I just had done that's exactly what it was and for what they need to take apart it is accurate.

I followed board recommendations and had the front radiators painted black and installed the Rennline mesh grilles. I am completely happy with the aesthetics and the lack of crap collecting in there now.

Both sides look great after having the radiators painted black. I think that is more important to the look than the grille itself. But the grill makes it so I won't have to paint/unbend them again.

You can still see where some of the radiator fins got bent. Shows much worse in fluorescent light than in real life.

Yes i also had these installed. Love the better functionality and looks. Highly recommended. I think the GTS should have come from the factory with these grills.

Had them on my 997 GTS, and hit a bird (robin) at triple digit speeds. the grill saved the radiators, and the grilles were easily bent blackout with a hook tool. Already have them on the way for my new GTS and will have them installed at delivery!

The car should come with these from the factory!

Strikingly similiar to this little incident, looks like the same kind of bird with the same kind of luck! Same story, the bird was extracted and both the mesh grill screens and radiators were totally fine

I had the grills powder coated Gulf Orange and installed professionally. They look awesome and keep the debris out.
