Several messages I've seen regarding Stuttgart have recommended the Mercedes museum. You'll have to check times as I believe most museums are closed on Monday (or was that Sunday?). When you go to the Porsche museum please report on the art hanging on the walls. When the wife and I were there in early June the "art" they were exhibiting was just trash. I would have preferred blank walls. Also, you have to eat on in the restaurant on the top floor. Enjoy, Mark

I wrote my dealer a check that they stuck in a drawer and won't cash unless I don't return the car and they get stuck with a $27k bill for VAT. It would have been a deal killer for me too with respect to buying vs. leasing had this not been the case.

Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the Mercedes museum yesterday afternoon and it's closed on Mondays. I think we'll try to check it out next week when we return our car.

Can't wait to see the art at the Porsche museum. I would have thought there's a treasure trove of fine car photography to display.

Will do Duane.

I'll have the fujifilm with me today during our exploration of Stuttgart.

Last night I just had the iPhone at our simple brew haus dinner in a square near our hotel. It was a rather splendiferous night to be outside though:

And a really terrible time to be trying to reduce my intake of gluten:

Jim - will do. But only if you promise to keep the M4 along with the GTS. Life is short!

That would be the place. Nice spot. And it was beautiful here last night - high 80s with a breeze.

Would be great to have you at this particular party with us. Thankfully we walked nearly 10 miles today so the schnitzel and spaetzel and beer and beef has been at least partially burned off.

Yep. Museum tour at 10:00, followed by lunch, followed by delivery, followed by factory tour, followed by dinner back at the factory. There will be pictures of more than my beer tomorrow night! The cars sleep overnight at the factory tomorrow night and then off to Austria Wednesday morning. So, yeah, a fantastic day tomorrow with a little torture mixed in.
