Default Paint protection

Had my new 911 wrapped in 3m scotch pro at the dealer figuring it would be protected from the get go for the drive home. After close inspection one fender has a tiny lint like particle under it. The bottom spoiler li is peeling in the corner. This was a 5 hour job at the dealer I was told. Now for the pain in the *** job to take it back for corrections. Why can't anybody do it right the first time. I know it's all about the installer. I'm in ma. Rant over!!!!!!

I just had my 2015 C2 done with Xpel. I spent a lot of time researching/visiting shops, & found the dealer to be the lessor option. Independent did a great job!

GL with your car - it'll only take more time, nothing likely hurt in process.

You paid for it. Have them fix it. They must stand behind their work. The dealer should get it lined up anyway since you went through them.

Never go through a dealer next time. Find the best shop you can and do it on your own.

That occurs when film is applied with dust / pollen in the air. Have them remove film and replace. It's a common issue and generally resolved timely without an issue.

In my area the same shop that my dealer uses Is the independent one. No other options unless I travel 100+ miles. It sucks!

These kind of "touch ups" are common. Contact them for a fix. I'm sure they'll fix the issues no questions asked.

A very reputable installer could have done it in a controlled environment. Every edged should have been tucked in.

We are fortunate in MA to have a great independent installer (north of Boston), it appears that your dealer didn't use them. I don't live that close to them but take my cars to them exclusively.

I would try to get half of whatever you paid back from your dealer, then maybe go to this guy or someone else to get it right.

I have not heard of them.

The place I use is called Unique Car Care, they are in Stoneham. I have no affiliation with them, but they do great work, not cheap, but very good. I also have another sports car from a different manufacturer and many of my friends from that club use this place as well.
