For the most sound from a 991TT or TT "S" you will want a full 3" system like our 991TT X-Flow exhaust. The new DFI engine in the current 991 Turbo and 997.2TT is extremely quiet compared to previous generations and it sounds best with a non muffled X-Pipe, such as the one we designed for the 991TT pictured below. In our opinion, the engine is simply too quiet for mufflers and even with no mufflers, the sound does not approach the level of the previous generation 996TT and 997.1TT cars. Trust me on this....
This system can be used with OEM cats or our own hi-flow cats utilizing HJS cores. It is also available with OEM tip outlets, but that will reduce the sound level. From our experience and testing of the 991TT, dual 3" tips provide enhanced volume over the OEM tips and sound better too.
