Default Wheel Straightening

I drove over a 4 x4 stud that was laying in the road and bent two of my wheels -20" Carrera Classics. A local company was able to straighten one but not that other. I have replaced the wheel which they couldn't straighten but I was wondering if anyone knew of a company that they know that has straightened wheels which others were unable to. The inside of the wheel has one section where it is straight instead of curved. My understanding is that the alloy used in the wheel cannot be heated and straightened because it will become brittle. I would be willing to sell the wheel if someone has a use for it.

Keep it. Make a hose reel out of it.

Sometimes things are just ruined. Pickup single wheel on Flea Bay and take that one to the dump or put a glass top on it and you have a fun gear-head coffee table. Would make good garage art if you can cut it down vertically right at the hub and then hang it on the wall.

I had 20" carrera wheel that all the big local wheel repair places said was not repairable, but i brought it to this place in Hayward CA called Team III wheels and he was able to repair it EASILY. You could give them a try. It cost like $95

They actually manufacture wheels for the hotrod crowd.

Throw them both away, suck it up and buy new ones.
