Default Any cabriolets on Bilstein Damptronics?

I am contemplating putting some Bilstein B16 damptronics onto my GTS cabriolet (primarily to reduce ride height and gain corner balance)

Has anyone on the list put their S on the damptronics? I am particularly concerned about the ride quality, since its not clear what the spring rates
are on the bilsteins vs OEM PASM

any thoughts and experiences welcome!

TIA

- Larry

I'd like to know what you come up with... I'd like to get my '16 GTS Cab to ROW ride height with Porsche parts, but I'm not sure how to go about it...

And if people are answering suspension questions: can any upgrades be done to cars with PDCC? Not that mine needs it but I am curious...

It's not actually clear to me that there is a difference between N.A and RoW ride heights anymore.

It's clear that the solutions are:

- PASM sport
- lowering springs (techArt, H&R)
- height adjustable springs (KW)
- coilovers (bilstein damptronics)

I've seen a couple of options that mention PDCC variants (damptronics) so yes!

The more I think about it...that Elephant Racing version seems like the way to go, you can choose any spring rate to fit what's needed.

Well only if you are happy with them grinding off parts of your pasm shock and you can vary the spring rates just as much (w/o revalving) the damptronics I believe and the KW H.A.S s they all take std 2.25" springs

No kidding...if I was, would have already been done.
Are you saying those others are also 2.25"?
I thought they were also progressive springs...which I'd like to avoid.

I have the techart springs on my car, I think if I were to do all over again, I would go with the Elephant Racing solution, as having the flexibility of corner balancing and choices of high quality linear swift springs seems super appealing. I guess if I REALLY wanted to go back to stock, you could source new dampers to replace the ones your cut, which wouldn't be a ridiculous amount of money.

The damptronic Bilstein coilover also uses a progressive spring.

I *believe* that both the KW H.A.S and Damptronics are 2.25" linear springs (and helpers) but this assertion is only based on photos of the kits themselves.
