That will never happen , as macanically they would have to use a borrowed chassis from VWAG ....they have never and would never do that on any model branded " Porsche "

Like others, my first thought was Panamera when I read the thread title. But the 911 is getting so big, it won't be long before there is room for two more doors. If you call it a 911 sedan, it will surely sell far better than with a Panamera badge on the back.

Could you imagine the angst there would be amongst the old school, die hard Porsche cognoscenti if there was a 911 sedan with a turbo engine?

The Internet might break.

Thanks, Lex! I recall a story about a Troutman & Barnes 914 pickup, but not this. I'll have to look closer...T

I can't believe Porsche would ever make a rear engined 4 door car. Makes no sense. A smaller Panamera to compete with the 5 series would make a ton of sense, and if it looked like the car above, I'd trade the wife's Q7 in on it in a heartbeat.

They already did. It's called the Panamera.
Perhaps the OP meant "Sedan that isn't so ugly it makes children cry, and dogs refuse to chase it."
Unlike the execrable Panamera.

There will never be a 4 door 911

Here's another 4 door for you though.
