Now I may have to rethink my decision (again)!. I like the sport front fascia and black headlights on your silver car.

Is your car Rhodium silver?

What brand are your rims and how much did they cost?

Can you post or IM/email me some more pictures of your car? She is beautiful and as I mentioned, you might change my purchasing plans.....

What rims are those and how much did they cost?
Thanks!!

I've been following your thread and the GT3 concerns. Some valid points.

GT Silver C2S

Wheels are HRE P101's

Check out the above thread, and would be happy to answer any questions you may have by PM.

Looking to order an NA 991.1?? Get on it ASAP. They're almost extinct

I comically and figuratively "poured one out" in our garage tonight, in response to the information released today.

Some additional details and photos.

On models with the Sport Chrono pack and PDK, an additional Sport Response button is fitted. Once pushed, the system provides maximum acceleration for 20 seconds by selecting the optimum gear.

Senior Porsche engineer Dr Erhard Mössle says…..'We tried to model a normally aspirated engine and avoid turbo lag as much as possible,’ he adds. ‘A lot of detail work has gone into the system to improve response. For instance, when you come off the throttle the turbos keep spinning, so they are running at a higher speed when you get back on the throttle. We also have a new sports exhaust system that sounds really good. Yes, it’s different to a normally aspirated engine, but it sounds better than the 911 Turbo, more emotional.

The new engine is heavier than the unit it replaces – by around 40kg – which means more weight now sits over the rear axle. The rear spring and anti-roll bar rates have been wound up in response, while the front axle suspension settings have also been revised

….a new smaller 360mm GT steering wheel is available as an optional extra

Porsche quotes a 7min 34sec Nurburgring time for the Carrera S – some six seconds quicker than the previous model. Impressively, that’s the same time Porsche claimed for the 997-generation GT2

….apart from the GT3 and RS version – that uses an atmospheric engine: ‘There will never be another series production normally aspirated 911,’ he says, ‘but maybe we will do some special edition cars.

Chris' pics above are probably the best confirmation we have that the center pipes are part of the PSE package. That car has both. Also, it looks as though there's a new 5-lug Turbo S wheel available. Nice.

That's a new wheel style in the pics.

How hilarious that he actually has to make excuses for the turbo engine, while throwing the 911 Turbo under the bus.

Like someone trying to validate a choice, while knowing inside that it's not the best choice they could have made. You see this in people who have bought something they regret, or possibly a girl they're dating. Well, she's this, this, and this, but she really is a nice girl ..

"Straight line performance and fuel efficiency have benefited from the switch to turbocharging, then, but logic suggests that throttle response, exhaust note and top-end fireworks – between them the three factors that can make an engine memorable rather than just effective – will have taken a backwards step."

I think that's the European on-sale date. The PCNA announcement stated a "market launch" in the US of March 2016.

GTS and Targa gone like I've mentioned in the past. The Porsche playbook is very predictable. Trickle the variants out over the years. You won't see a GTS for another 2-2.5 years. Should be turbo too
