Default new member intro pics 911+ past M3's :)

hi!

been lurking for a while and waiting for my chance to get myself a 911 after three M3's in a row.
Tought I'd share some pics of my 911 and last two M3's - 911 pretty stock and nothing special, but pics came out nice.

crazy taxes here in Norway so a '12 C2S fully equipped like mine would be approx 250k USD brand new.
got mine for 170K with about 18K miles on it.
PDK,18 ways, PSE, PASM,SC+,full leather, Burmester, dynamic engine mounts and all the good stuff, except the "wrong" steering wheel.

waiting to do a alcantara pdk wheel swap next week!

I loved the M3's (I had 3 in a row) - except the milage, and I won't say imnot going to get one again, but as long as I can stay NA, I will

The 911 is something different though, more direct and sporty feeling in every aspect. Only part I'm not super impressed with are the little creaks, squeaks and annoying noises in the cabin.

anyways, here are some pics!

Very nice! Congrats. I am also a former M3 owner (i've had several M3's). I have a 911 on order which will be my first too.

Congrats and welcome! I'm a long time BMW owner too and had own all generation M3 (except the current gen) plus a (Z3) M roadster. The Porsche is a whole different kind of animal for sure.

Congratulations, my wife's uncle lives on Norway. He told me taxes are insane.

I know I'm supposed to love your Porsche and I do, but all I can think is . . .

INTERLAGOS!!!!!

I love that color and am determined to special order it on a future BMW. I just hope that BMW makes a car that I want again before everyone forgets how to mix the color. Either that or I'm going to find an Interlagos over Silverstone E60 M5 6MT and baby it for the rest of my life! Maybe STG991 can find me one of those . . .

thanks for the compliments you all.
Interlagos is sure nice, I got a little bored with the white as I'm a little detailer hobbyist, but I'm sure have a full time job now again with the basalt black!

my GTS alcantara wheel showed up today, can't wait to have it installed!

I think all of these were shot with a Canon 5D MKII on either a 24-70 2.8 II or a 70-200 2.8 II
