GTS Club Coupes - Where's yours?

Still no word on individual numbering. That would be unfortunate, for sure, as the number is needed to really differentiate the CC from others. My car is built and the dealer has tried to confirm, with no luck, a unique build number. I remember noting that the one already built that I saw at the Daytona ROLEX race DID NOT have a number on the dash.

Why wouldn't Porsche number these cars? Haven't they numbered all the previous "limited run" models...50th CC, 50th Anny 911s, etc.?

I guess we need to wait for the OP to receive his car, which appears to be any day now. I truly do hope they are numbered to remain consistent with the other anniversary type editions.

How sad is this? My plate arrived today. My CC won't be here until Thanksgiving.

^^^ LOL
You'd think these cars would be individually numbered (like, I'm pretty sure, the 997 Speedster, 50th anniversary, 50th Club Coupe, Sport Classic...). It would be kind of ironic if the 1:43rd model is numbered and the actual car isn't!
I guess we'll soon see.
Either way, I'm excited about having the car.

My car has been built but has not made it to my dealer but he was able to get me the vin. My sequence number is 122325. Now let's see what the others have been or will be.

I do not believe they are numbered. I remember a conversation early on with Porsche about this and they basically told us that they were not doing this anymore (I haven't checked to see if there were other limited edition models that were numbered after the club coupe project).
It's funny. They find it peculiar that we in the US are so curious as to how many of a certain model they built. They are always getting queries about how many of a certain color, interior, body style, etc they built. I didn't ask how many white 964's they built...I'm sure the answer would have been "too many".
Hopefully with the register and the vin numbers, a informal numbering can be done.

So the 1,955 1:43 Club Coupe model cars ARE numbered, you know, because collectors pretty much demand it...
BUT, the 60 special edition Carrera GTS automobiles are NOT numbered, you know, because "(we're) not doing this anymore."
Even though all the customers buying the cars would like them to be numbered. Geesh.

For what it's worth, it's kind of a non-event for me that my car won't be numbered. It's still a car that's easily recognized as being one of 60 very cool cars. As a glass half full guy, I'm glad it means I didn't get number 13.

No numbers on the 60th Anny Club Coupes?
What's next...Club Blau available as a PTS color for everybody?

Wow! This is disappointing. Not just mildly, but extremely disappointing.
Essentially, we are paying for a special vehicle, with about a 9k premium just for the Club Coupe bits and pieces, but no numbered plaque. Next thing you know, others will be able to get the CC steering wheel, PTS, and everything else that is supposed to be special.
Regardless, I will enjoy it, all while knowing that this could possibly be an overpriced PTS 911 GTS.
I do love my numbered die cast cars though.
