Does the analog small dial on chromo have 2 hands ( like a normal clock ) or only 1? Mine has only 1 hand and seems to read the wrong times, then just resets on its own. TIA

If your car is set with Chrono "on" and it is waiting for Start to be clicked on . . . both hands on the little white analog clock at the bottom will be on top of each other pointing to 12:00.
The Sport Chrono clock up on the dash has two clocks in it . . . a digital clock and at the bottom a small analog clock with two small white hands. There is a large orange sweep second hand.
With the Chrono turned off the two clocks tell the time of day and the sweep second hand continues to sweep around constantly.
With Chrono turned on both clocks return to zero on the digital and 12:00 with both hands at the top of the little clock at the bottom. The orange sweep second hand will stop and wait at the top at 12:00 position.
When Start is clicked on the chrono the two clocks start to mount up time and the sweep second hand reumes sweeping around. Click reset and thay all return to zero & 12:00 again awaiting another Start.
When you start your car the hands will go crazy for a bit returning to the correct time of day.

I understand that part but I don't have two hands in the small dial.....only 1. Plus the large red hand that shows the seconds. Isn't the small dial at bottom suppose to have 2 hands? Am I missing something? Thanks.

The guy's question is pretty simple. Yes, you should have two hands on the smaller dial. If you only have one, then you should take it to your dealer for replacement.

The absolutely most useless piece of junk ever put in a car. An old fashioned egg timer in the shape of an hour glass would be better. What will Porsche think of next to boost the option list...a sundial?

Car is out of warranty
Is it a easy DIY fix or do you replace the whole clock?

I ignore mine. I think it's meant to denote the option or impress passengers.

I thought the Germans were just **** about time. I have FOUR clocks in the car, two on the Sports Chrono, one on the Radio/Nav unit, and one on the MFD. The only good thing about their implementation is that they all seem to slave off of a single master clock (unlike my buddy's Nismo, he gets a little whacky when his two clocks are out of sync, he dreads any battery work as a result).
