My 2016 GTS is almost here....
Ordered 4/16 and should land any day... The only changes I'll make will be clear LED side markers and 50% tint.

I'm waiting for mine to clear customs and PDI prior to dealer delivery!

Do you have an image of the aerokit splitter? I was going to buy a few and get them painted waiting for the inevitable....

Fortunately I've been successful of totally putting it out of my mind.....It helps that I promised myself that I wouldn't call my SA to ask for status updates.. That goes out the window today since I'm going to the dealership (Paul Miller Porsche, Parsippany, NJ) to tidy up paperwork.

Good news. My car is on a ship by the name of Adriatic Highway, and is currently off the Coast of NJ. Looks like it lands in Davisville, RI in the next day or so. My guess is that I'll have the car in two weeks or sooner since I have elected to receive the vehicle "wrapped" so that I can do the interior and exterior cosmetic commissioning myself.

Does leaving the car wrapped impede the PDI process in any way? What about potential bodywork damage under the plastic wrap?

It will not affect the PDI process. I have a significant history with my dealer and they will trust me if there is damage as long as I report it immediately. They say that in over 400 deliveries that they haven't had shipping or delivery damage. I will have the car trailered...

*My* ship actually docked and unloaded in Rhode Island on 7/3 and due to the holiday didn't update status. My car may have just arrived at the dealer since they just received two trailers of cars from Rhode Island!
