It's looking like the August C&C is a family day of obligation for me - important wedding. If the timing works for both, count me in. I'll look in to details. It'd certainly put me in a better mood than would otherwise be the case.

I see no reason why it wont make it onto a truck north this week ... but you never know, sadly I doubt they will allow someone to take the car from the port ... I'll keep you posted.

I'll post when the car arrives at Sonnen, looks like the only constant is the
oceanic transit time, everything else, factory-to-port, customs+PDI, and
port-to-dealer are "variable", looks like its going to be about 7wks "door2door"

Boat arrived at port on 7/3. Boat departed port 7/6. Today is 7/13 with no change in status. PDI has not been performed and Monroney has not been printed as of this morning.

Internal doc's say - Planned Departure from port on 7/24 but Expected date is 7/17. Planned date in Dealer Inventory is 7/31 but Expected is 7/24.

Still restless

I'm in northern NJ and got my car in late March. According to the system, my car spent exactly 2 weeks in RI, and another week in-transit to the dealer in NJ (which I still don't understand). So, the dates you're seeing mirror my experience exactly. The last week was the worst as I thought transit time to NJ would be no more than 1 day, 2 at the most. In any case, it's really close now. Good luck!

Went to see the car today and to do paperwork... Amazingly pleased. I'll pick up the car on Monday at noon and start to prep the car later in the day.... Tints n Xpel the week after...
