lowering your GTS...

Here's a pic I snapped today. It's DEF lower than SPASM, by about 1 finger. I used to be able to fit three fingers in my wheel well, I can barely fit 2. So about an additional 10mm from SPASM is right.

I posted this in another section before. Here is a SPASM Equipped C4S on 20" HRE P101's (using OEM Tires). We then lowered it with TechArt Springs and you can tell a noticeable difference.
-TechArt Lowering Springs Installed
-OEM Sport PASM Suspension

Personally, I would try and not go any lower than SPASM height. Looks a bit too "dropped" in my opinion.
Question: do you guys use the angle technique when existing a driveway/exit etc? I know that it works on the entry aspect of it. I exited an unassuming parking lot yesterday with a gradual decline. The bottom lip caught the pavement. It was odd, because there was a bump in the road where it actually raised after the initial decline if that makes sense.
Thank goodness, it only scraped slightly on the UNDER PART of the lip and not visible from looking straight at it. Even at eye level on the ground. Still, hearing that scrape turned me white until I could pull over and check it out. Yes, I'm a baby!

That's not true.
I had SPASM on my previous 991 C4S with the Sport Design front fascia, and did not have problems scraping.
Steep driveways and dips in intersections were challenging, but not insurmountable. Speed bumps were never an issue.

Usually my scrapes occur when exiting a steep driveway. Luckily it happens on the bottom of the SPASM black spoiler so you can't see it. Also, thankfully the the plastic piece is relatively inexpensive and easy to replace. I am OK with replacing it once every 1-2 years for the lowered look

I've scraped 3X in 3k. The first one bothered me, the rest I consider normal wear and tear. I never have a problem in Nevada, but when I go to CA, I end up scraping when making a right turn onto a street that has a high crown to allow for drainage. I can't see the scrapes, so I don't worry about it.
