I have always been perplexed by us Porsche owners. We love these cars, and pay large money for them because they are jewel like, a blast to drive and are incredibly dependable and durable. We then punish those that drive them as they are intended to be driven by considering 80-90 thousand miles as high mileage. We won't pay a fair price for a well cared for car with that kind of mileage. I know the market decides what everything is worth, but it seems that the small set of people who love Porsches are working against their own interests in that we buy the car and then are afraid to pile the miles on, or do track days for fear of the depreciation hit....just sayin....Chris

Have you considered getting an MT GTS coupe off the lot or do those things not exist?

I LOVE that people don't drive them! It makes it SO much easier to buy a 911 at ten or more years old, near the bottom of the depreciation curve yet still near-new with only 50-60k miles. Then having bought it cheap you can drive it everywhere the next 10-15-20 years, by which time even though you've put 150k miles on it its worth way more than you paid for it- probably more even than when new! As if the guy who bought it new put $60k in an escrow account, to be disbursed to whoever owns his car 30 years later.

Close to 15k on a 14 that hasn't been driven in three months. That will all change on 7/9. T

Chupacabra on the other 991 forum said on May 10 that he went over 63K miles in 2012 991S so he might have the record on the forums.

Try to resurrect this thread. Who has put over 50k, 75k, 100k on their 991 already?

Just over 55,xxx mile mark here.

I've put on 53,xxx miles in just over 2.5 years from picking up my 13' CPO'ed C4S.

I'm on my 4th set of tires and had 9 oil changes. 5th set of tires are mounted and stacked in the garage ready to go in the near future.

Sounds like you have spent some quality time with your C4S! Running strong?

Yes no big issues.

Engine and PDK very strong. I do oil changes at 5k intervals just because....haven't done any testing.

1) Had the PDK hiccup/jerk 2 times with in a week... I just put it in the odd column and it never happened again. I played it off as a hill hold/traction control issue item. Just odd can't reproduce.
2) Door rattles with music - I'm going to work on that one myself at some point
3) Moon roof rattle (metal) - Dealer lubed up the track and the plastic to plastic parts and rattle went away.
4) I have the weird chirp noise behind the cluster at random times - will have the dealer look at it at 60K
5) Lighted Carbon door seals died - One needed to be replaced (cracked) the other had a bad transformer.
6) I do have the random hesitation issue between 2-3K under light throttle but have not felt or noticed it for quite some time.

Still have 44,xxx miles of CPO warranty left.

Will have 36,000 after this weekend. New tires go on soon. Second set of rears. Oil change. Then another 1,000 miles. Start doing winter hibernation prep in late October. Won't see daylight till March 2017.
