Lone branch luckily travelled horizontally through the roof and is hanging above the car. Branch is being held up by the garage door opener track -yikes ! Niece's boyfriend (carpenter)is heading over tomorrow morning to extricate and repair the roof. The good neighbor came through and hired a tree service to remove the rest. Sister's SUV is on the way to the body shop and her loaner is in the driveway. Car cover protected the car from a few very small branches. Who says not to cover your car indoors T

 

Made it up to CT late last night and took some pics this morning. Not a scratch. T

 

I don't understand the "act of God" exclusion. Are we suddenly in the 16th century, where we don't understand what causes lightning? How the hell does one agree to what constitutes an act of God? It's not like there's some bearded guy in the sky who's raining down ***** of fire. Even then, if a 100lb meteorite strikes your house, how would that an act of God? Someone please tell me what a legitimate act of God is? Turning the water in my pool into a 1991 vintage of Opus One?
