Is your car coming into San Diego? If so, is it scheduled for 11/27?

 

I don't have the screen shot from the ordering system... I do have an official doc, showing 12/11 delivery but it does not break out each step along the way. Thinking of swinging by tomorrow for a run down of all the dates

Yep, mine too! I plan on tracking the ship as it comes over. My office window overlooks San Diego bay so I'm try and get pictures of the ship coming in, lol. You might say I'm a bit obsessed.

 

Yay!! My car went into production! Loooooong wait so far (I think dealer sold me an allocation they didn't have just yet). My wife jokes she nearly made our son in less time

C_GIO, me too finally committed to a 7MT 2016 GTS. My allocation was not confirmed until the end of August (I believed your order was confirmed in mid July). My SA has told me the car will be here by the end of the year. If there is only 1 shipment in Dec, looks like mine is going to be on the same boat as your car.

BTW, I decided to buy from a local dealer closer to home and they matched the deal. They asked for my CC for the deposit but never charged my card. I guessed the deposit was not really necessary. I read up somewhere saying CA Law does not allow non-refundable deposit on custom order.

 

Is true....I gave a couple grand but they can't keep if deal goes South.

Oh I definitely plan to . Mine went to the body shop on the 2nd and should be done this Friday. Most likely on the line right now with the OP's car.

Hey c_Gio. I reached out to my SA and found out that my car got on a boat today. Unfortunately he did not know which ship but is trying to find out. Since ours were built at the same time, do you know if your car went out today? If it did, can you ask your SA if he knows what ship your car is on? It looks like I might get mine before December!
