Default GT Silver on Brushed HRE P40SC - Keeping It Classy / TAG Motorsports

The HRE P40SC wheels are just timeless. They were such a nice compliment to this GT Silver, 7 speed manual 991 CS2. The wheels are a brushed finish and wrapped in Michelin Pilot Supersport tires, This customer purchased the car and immediately brought it over so we can outfit this beauty as he had ordered his wheels and timed it perfectly beforehand.... Enough talking, on to the photos!

The full list of modifications:
-20" HRE P40SC Wheels in Brushed Finish
-245/30/20 and 305/30/20 Michelin Pilot Supersport Tires

Looks great but no Switch Path?

How come you guys didn't put a TAG license plate frame on my car last week?

Haha I know right? This client might come back for another round and we'll throw on the AWE Switchpath on then...

Really? Aww man! Stop by anytime and we'll toss one on! Or maybe during your 10 Day Check!

I can't explain how much I like these wheels. I have a C2 and am thinking of swapping the OEM wheels for these. If only they weren't £4500 in the UK.....

What is the difference between the P40 and the P40SC?

There is quite a bit of difference between the P40 and P40SC. Most notably, the P40 was always designed to be a straight spoke while the SC model was designed to have much more of a conical (concave) profile and on top of that, this model has much more pocketing in the spokes to help with weight reduction as well!

I love P40s and this combo looks great. Had them on my other car. However, I'm starting to feel they look a bit dated on the 991. Maybe it's just me. There's something extra about the Turbo S wheels/GTS wheels that seem to be slightly better. Can the rears be more concave?

I'm considering a set of these for my car. Is this the brushed clear finish? I'm trying to decide between this and the tinted clear finish for my GT Silver GTS. Thanks.

This particular one is the Brushed Clear (P40SC)

Here is the Brushed Dark Tinted Clear HRE P101 on a GT Silver 991 C2S We recently did for comparison!

The P101 looks great, and is tempting. The brushed tinted clear does not look much darker than the brushed clear. Is the picture a pretty accurate representation?

The brushed dark clear is ALOT darker than the brushed clear. The brushed clear is a raw aluminum color.

A buddy just got the brushed dark clear.

Thanks. The earlier pic of the P101 really looks much closer to brushed clear. My understanding is that tinted clear and dark clear are now the same. Maybe tinted clear was much closer to brushed clear.

Yeah - so HRE is actually trying to shy away from the standard Brushed Tinted clear as it is VERY similar to their standard Brushed Clear as you have clearly noticed. The Brushed DARK clear has proven to be VERY VERY popular!

Here is the Brushed Dark Clear on my Rhodium silver 991 Turbo S

And here is Brushed Dark Clear on a Sapphire Blue C4S we recently did!
