If you are a 3.1, you should able to go to 4.76. There are a few threads on here with the part number. My dealer is updating me to 4.76 from 4.52 after a PCM change. Dealers should be able to get it as mine just ordered it. It's available online on one of the PCM threads as a downloadable file that you burn to a DVD and then install yourself.

Did you check post #104 in this thread? There is a download link. I did the upgrade with no issues (post #126) a while ago.

Ya I downloaded 104... it may be the dvd's i'm using... i just ordered verbatim ... i tried all the ones I had laying around (memorex, sony, generic staples) and none worked...it starts update and then stops and gives me error message.... also confirming i can do this with the car running rather than just ignition on draining battery?

In my previous post #185 above I included an overview of the different HW levels of the PCM3.1. If you have the level V2.xx software in can only be upgraded to the latest V2.74 and cannot be upgraded to V4.76 which is on the latter 2013-2016 version 4 PCM3.1. The overview details the changes and upgrades that were made to the PCM3.1 over the model years.

I downloaded it and burn it at 4x speed. I pit it in the stereo and it says confirm and starts, it says reset system to start the process and then it sends the stereo into the loop wtf.

It doesn't matter what speed you burn the DVD at if your vehicle cannot handle the update to begin with, as I experienced with my 2011 Cayenne with version 2.76 as so many others here have also experienced it seems

I still have the disk I used to upgrade. For a small fee of $200, I can send to anyone interested . . .
