Stand by for test to determine if you're a hamster.

hahaha

The username stems from a research lab I worked at when I was an undergrad. We did suspended animation studies on hamsters/rats/pigs/dogs. I mostly worked on smaller animals at the time. When the hamsters were revived from their suspended animation, they were never the same; neurologically speaking. I coined the term "neurotic hamsters" at the time.

Wow, you're getting better updates than me! I wonder how optimistic a Thursday pick-up would be?

Latest news is... no news. Cars are still in Rhode Island awaiting truck transport... should be here by Friday... sooner is looking doubtful.

Ya got the email today :/

Your SA told you by Friday? I hope so. I'm going to Deep Creek on Friday for a weekend trip. Would love to drive the car down there!

I asked Brad because he seemed to have more information and I've known him for years too! I think he's expecting delivery to them by Friday... not sure how long they'd need to prep the cars for delivery to us. I'd think they'd need at minimum half a day to put PA state inspection stickers on them and get them all cleaned up. He said he'd let me know if they get in before Friday, but if they're still not on a truck as of this morning we're running out of days fast.

Thanks for the info. I told Brad not to wash the car or remove the exterior protection plastic stuff. I want to do it myself. Also, I rather not have the dealer wash my car; the BMW dealer left a lot (A LOT) of swirls and love marks when I picked my new car a few years ago.

I'm in northern NJ; I got my GTS at the end of March. It was about 12 days from the time it got to RI to when it arrived at my dealer. I think it left RI about a week after it arrived, so the trip to NJ took about 5 days (including a weekend). I couldn't figure out why the trip took so long.
