I'm finally getting back into Porsche ownership after a lengthy hiatus. I just sold my 2003 Dodge Viper after having it for 6 years. Scary powerful but didn't get to fully take advantage of its capabites, mainly cause it was a soft top and it was difficult to find a track of program that would allow it to pass the tech inspection. Anyway I attended he Porche driving experience last year and now I'm hooked on getting another 911 that I can have a little fun with.
Here's my question: I'm looking at a '12-13 991 S with PSE and Sport Chrono still debating over PDK or manual. However I've been searching around and I found one that's a CPO car with low miles for around $80k. Ive also seen some 2012 GTS's for less. But as many of you know it's a 997. Which would you choose 2012 991S or a 2011/12 GTS for less $$? Any input or thought are welcome!

Subscribed because I'm in the same boat. Watched 2 really nice 997 GTSs come and go near me because I just couldn't pull the trigger for about the same money as a 991S. In doing so I think I've about answered my own question but interested to see what others think.
