good to know, actually makes sense that they are stiffer, explains why they are not an option on either the cab or targa

Woah that is a big difference in settings especially across the back end.
I think having PDCC makes a big difference to the PASM Sport feel. Without the stiff anti roll bars the ride can become more supple when driving style permits.

I can imagine that would be the case...

Just visited my OPC to check on my PTS GTS order after reading about issues with PTS.
The news is not good. I ordered the car in May, a Mexico Blue GTS. The build date was September and October completion. It has now been moved back to January 2016 completion. So another 3 months to wait.
There is a 3 month back log now on any confirmed 991 PTS order. Longer for the GT3 and RS.
So the new 991.2 turbo cars (I am test driving in December) will be on the road before my normally aspirated GTS arrives.

Not me.... but looking forward to test drive.
Was going to go for Lava orange before deciding on Mexico blue. Lava Orange has now arrived at the dealers and woah "orange".... Not so sure that's orange... Dealer is calling it salmon and I am thinking more its more a shade of peach. Not how imagined it at all..
6 months ain't so long to wait for PTS. The wait is obviously made easier as I still have 2015 c2s.

Sorry to hear OMG. This is very disappointing for you and everyone else who is waiting.
I’ve been keeping my head in the sand, hoping the PTS problem was restricted to the RS. My GTS was scheduled for mid-November. If now delayed by 3 months that puts it back to mid-Feb. I suppose I won’t now have to worry about a winter wheel/tyre solution.
Hang on, if production of 991.1 finishes at the end of this year, am I actually going to get a car? Time to call OPC…

There was overlap between the 997.1 and 997.2, and the 997.2 and 991.1, I don't see any reason to not assume there will be some slight overlap due to "specialized variants" with the 991.1 -> 991.2.

THANK YOU for all this comparison of the various 991 options . Most comprehensive write up I have seen to date . Nice to confirm that I ordered ALL I of the "right" options without having driven the options . I am in India and my GTS is docking soon in San Diego . Will be awaiting my return in Beaverton Oregon in August . The GTS is the finest car for daily use that Porsche has produced to date . SO HAPPY that I am able to afford this magnificent automobile
