GTS Ceramic Brakes..

That sucks. What kind of car/wheels? I had them on my BMW 335i w/ 18'' alloy. So far, so good after about 3 weeks. You have to make sure the wheels are spotless. I cleaned and clayed them. Allowed the wheels to dry then sprayed a crap load on each wheel and left it overnight to make sure it sticks to the wheels.

I LOVE PCCB ... I would not get a 911 without them... I lot of heavy trackers do not like them because of the replacement cost, but Ive yet to see a real cost analysis of steel vs ceramics.
Note that the Evo comparison test showed that their stopping power is about the same as steels, however the thermal performance is MUCH better...

I shall stick with them from now on also...

The depreciation is like 100% on them. That being said, I hate brake dust sooooooo much I'd probably buy them if building a custom ordered car.
Geez, just put new pads/rotors on and the brake dust even gets on the doors, etc..
Extra time cleaning wheels per wash x my time $$$ = probably well worth it!

I had a SA show me the cost of returning a car with ceramics, and like you said, you get nothing back for ceramics. One of the major reasons I opted not to get them. As far the brake dust, I found a solution:
Now I'm not a fan of anything "Armorall" but this stuff is black magic! I've had it on my wheels for ~3 weeks now, and not a single speck of dust! Get yourself a bottle! Here's a good review too

Heard that you should not use the Armorall stuff on black wheels as it leaves a white sticky film on the wheels. Any truth to that?

If in the US, I believe it is 2,000 miles. But just supposed to keep rpm below 4,200, avoid full throttle acceleration, and don't lug the engine. No reason that I know to not use Sport mode during that time. The car will rev faster then in Normal mode and get to 4,200 faster, but just let off the gas before you get there. Not going to hurt anything if you exceed 4,200 briefly. Some would argue to just take it easy for a few hundred miles, then let it rip. I tend to take it easy on mine for at least 1,000 miles, but as I said previously, I used Sport mode on the way home from the dealer in my GTS.
