It's official, I am currently on the Pleiades Leader due in Rhode Island on the 24th. Whew, it's going to be a tough wait. What's everyone's experience with the time it takes to get from port to delivery?
well the cars have to roll off, clear customs and then pass thru the VPC for processing before getting on a truck ... and then it depends on how far your
dealer is from the port...
probably not less than 5 days ... maybe double ... depending on backlog of cars in the customs/VPC pipeline.
According to Google Maps it's about 172 miles from the port to my dealership. I'm figuring 3 weeks so that I don't get let down, but I realize anything can happen. Heck, maybe I'll even be surprised!

I hear ya, currently my car just passed north of the Azores about 22 hours ago on its way to San Juan (by Friday) ... its due in San Diego 7/3 but I am not
expecting it for 2-3 weeks afterwards, especially since its an ED car it goes
through a more exacting customs inspection than a 'factory' car...

Congrats! You're lucky that your car ran ahead of schedule. Mine is still running true to schedule, with both the planned and scheduled date of 6/19 to enter the body shop, and the planned and scheduled date of 6/26 to exit production. I suspect I should get my car around the last week in July if things go smoothly. With a bit of luck, you may get yours the very end of June/ first week of July.

That's awesome! And of course the consolation prize is that you have a twin turbo to drive while you wait.
I didn't either, but perhaps its a little known exclusive option that we are not aware of - paging Eduardo (z356) where are you?
I'm very curious about this also. I always though you would just get black/red/yellow/green depending on what type of brakes you have. Didn't know Porsche was doing PTS on brakes. Surely I can't have Porsche paint my base black brakes yellow?
